Dr Jacqueline is a skilled specialist obstetrician, gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon, practicing at ACJ Women’s Clinic in Mount Alvernia Hospital.
Her warm and friendly nature puts patients at ease. She prides herself on listening to her patients, empowering them and respecting their choices. Dr Jacqueline is fluent in English, Mandarin and can speak some Hokkien, Teochew and Bahasa Indonesia. With over 15 years of experience, she offers comprehensive and individualized obstetric care to both high and low risk pregnancies.
Dr Jacqueline also sub-specialises in advanced minimally invasive surgery ( keyhole surgery) for gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, cysts and endometriosis.
Her extensive training allows her to provide a range of treatment options tailored specifically to each individual.
Her experience
Dr Jacqueline graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine, London in 2008 and went on to obtain her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, United Kingdom in 2015. She is recognised as a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health, Singapore
Prior to leaving for private practice, Dr Jacqueline was a Consultant with the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She pursued her interest in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and completed her local fellowship in 2021.
Besides being certified to perform Advanced Level 3 surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and cystectomy (keyhole surgery for womb, fibroid, and cyst), Dr Jacqueline was also a surgical trainer for laparoscopy at KK Womens’ and Children’s hospital before she left.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr Jacqueline is passionate about teaching, being active in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. She is council member for the Society of Gynaecological Minimally Invasive Surgery Singapore (SGMIS) and is active in organizing local and regional conferences, training workshops and educational forums for minimally invasive surgery.
She is a strong advocate for patient care and firmly believes that each and every patient deserves the best when it comes to their health and pregnancy journey.
